Hi. Can anyone help with a cap kit install in the MD, VA, DC area? I have a couple monitors that need cap kits and I'm not able to accomplish this myself yet. I have a Jungle Hunt that doesn't seem to focus, images are enlarged and a Donkey Kong that from time to time has the sides cut off. Any help would be appreciated and I'd pay for your time, repair and kit. Thanks alot.

DK is experiencing foldover and should be solved with a cap kit. Jungle Hunt sounds like a bad flyback, which is not fixed by doing a cap kit.

Thanks! That's great. I'll shoot you a PM to schedule something.

I'm in Germantown...so you're about 40 mins up the street.

I would assume that you have a G07 in your Jungle Hunt, but I do not know for sure without seeing a pic of the chassis.

If it is a G07 then order the Bob Roberts Deluxe kit for that monitor. Comes with all your typical failure parts for that monitor.

I want to get that kit for my Tron monitor.

I could do them for you as well. Im in southern maryland 20650.

That looks like a 4900 in the pic.

I have 4900 and sanyo cap kits in stock and should have a used 4900 fly if it needs one.

Thanks for the response Riptor.

It shows on the chassis 19k4903 and another number WG483471. So when someone says "G07" or "4900" is that referring to the chassis or the actually monitor (picture tube) or are they both considered one in the same in regards to serial numbers etc?

Yes disreguard the number on the tubes, its insignificant. The chassis model is what you need to order a cap kit. I have 4900 kits on hand.
