I really enjoy doing all the cosmetic stuff to games and getting them back to original looks as close as I can but the thing I dred the most is all the wiring inside. Im working on a Ms. Pac cabaret right now and just want to rip out all the guts, clean it up, and start over with new wiring. I see 20 yrs of dirt and grime on all the wires and transformers and I wonder how im ever going to clean it up. I have a few routes to go and I want to see what yall would do.
1. Do I gut it and clean up all the wires (and with what) and just put it all back in after being cleaned.
2. Gut it and get a new wiring harness for the game so it looks all nice and new like the outside will.
3 Gut it and put in Jamma wiring with a power supply and just use jamma to Pac connecter.
4. Insert your idea here that I may not be thinking of.
I have to admit I kinda want to go the jamma route cause the little bit of wiring ive done in cabs was with jamma and it was fairly easy for me to follow and plus Bob has good easy to follow steps on his site that would help me. Just trying to get an idea of what yall do when you are in this situation of a restore.
