A couple of days ago Bottlejunkie posted a link for a pair of Rush the Rock's on CL for $200 for the pair. I sent them a text to see if they still had them. They did, but things came up and I wasn't able to get go get them. Fast forward to last night. They text me back and say they are antsy to get rid of them. Bingo! $100 if I could pick them up that same night. Big thanks to my next door neighbor for letting me use his trailer short notice on a Sunday night and to my wife for putting up with me.

They both powered up at the sellers house and look like they are fully working. One has some sun fade on the side art. Going to need to get some new network cables. One small panel on the bottom back needs to be resecured.

Can't wait to play them!

Nice score, they look to be in excellent shape! Seems like CL is really a hit or miss place to get machines!

Rush is such as awesome game! How heavy were those machines?

Since they are on wheels it wasn't bad. The only hard part was getting them on the trailer. The ramp on it is one of the grated kind so I had to lift up on the seat end while the lady and her daughter pushed them up. Still pretty heavy though. I still have to take them off the trailer. I'm going to put a sheet of plywood down in the grated ramp this time, and it will be just me.

When are you offloading them? If you need some help and im available let me know, itll be an oppurtunity for us to met and i can check out the games i missed out on.

Be careful doing that! I put my Berzerk cabinet in my basement by myself the day I got it and I think that was big mistake, even though I had a trolly. Next time I'm getting help, my back is stil mending from that dumb decision . . .

Post pictures once you have them setup in your basement!

Got them in the garrage. I think I am officially out of space now. Thank goodness NAVL is coming tomorrow to pick up 8 cabinets. That will help a bit. :)

The hardest part was getting these over the stupid 2 inch lip going into the garage by myself. The wheels aren't tall enough and they bottomed out. Got them in though. Here are some more pics.

Just had time to let the kids race a couple and one for myself. WOW! This game ROCKS! I am very impressed. Best 100 bucks I've spent yet. There is some cosmetic stuff to clean up on them and one of the two needs some woodwork on the bottom section. It has a crack below the monitor pedistal. Shouldn't be to hard though.

I noticed something strange with both of them. I tried to take a picture but you can't tell. On all the art it looks like it was applied over old art that had raised lettering. The weird thing is the lettering underneath looks like it is also rush the rock but in much larger font. Is this the way all these are with like a textured ghost text on them, or does mine actually have another set of art underneath?

1)My bad bro,i was busy til 7:00
2)you have a mutant cab you should not touch or let your kids around and hold it for me until i have space and i come give you the hundred buck's.

LOL. You are definatly welcome any time to come over.

I figured out the side art. I didn't know that Rush the Rock was an upgrade to Sanfrancisco Rush. One of them has Rush the Rock side art on one side and the original San Francisco Rush art on the other. I can tell now that the artwork was applied over the old.

Interesting to note that your two games don't look like they have the lower black steel rails as seen here:
*** Edited for a better pic of what I am talking about. This is a dedicated Rush, not a Rush The Rock

They go right over the area that is cracked on yours. I have never, until now, seen a RTR without those rails.

Ok, and back to this pic:

Notice the dedicated Rush The Rock side art. The biggest difference between the original Rush cabs and RTR cabs is that the dedicated RTR is designed to seperate, the original Rush isn't.
