Just finished rebuilding it and started to make adjustments for the +5 and +12 voltages. I can adjust the +12 but the +5 is stuck on 3 volts. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

Anyone? I'm sorry if I wasn't specific about my issue. I bought a non working Tron and repaired the following:

-Capped the monitor.
-Rebuilt the 90412 linear power supply with Bob Robert's OEM PS (90412) Repair Kit.
-Installed the Lithium Battery Conversion Kit.

The only thing I didn't do on the power supply rebuild was to replace the molex connectors. (If you know a way to easily desolder and remove these connectors, let me know.)

I installed the 90412 power supply and connected the J3 and J6 connectors from the main power supply to it. I adjusted the pots on vr101 and vr102 to get my +12 and +5 DC voltages. Using my multimeter, I was able to adjust vr101 to get my +12 but on vr102 adjusting the pot has no affect. The voltage stays at +3.

I'm new to this type of power supply so if you have any idea what's wrong or if I'm doing something wrong, please let me know.

Thank you,

Steve

BTW: The original battery on the power supply leaked at some point but I cleaned it with the baking soda and water method.
