I bought a couple of replacement Sanwa joysticks for a friend's Candy Cabinet without taking measurements and was disappointed to find that the joystick base was too small. I have taken a photo of the current joystick in the cabinet. I would like to find a similar replacement but have not been able to figure out what brand they are. If anyone could help me identify and/or locate replacements I would greatly appreciate it.

The base of the joystick is about 4.25" from edge to edge whereas the Sanwas was only about 4 " from side to side.

I would prefer ones with the option of changing from 4way to 8 way. Thanks

You should be able to make JLF's work with the right mounting plate. But those look like Semitsu LS-32s (http://www.lizardlick.com/Seimitsu-LS-32_p_418.html).

The mounting plate you may need for the JLF's might be this one:

And if you stick with the JLF's, you could use the octagonal piece and get 4 AND 8-way action in one glorious restrictor WITHOUT having to switch:

I misplaced the boxes with the joysticks. I'll see if I can't find them and measure them and compare them to the photos. The mounting plate shown looks like it is drilled for a different joystick than the JLF's at any rate. I'll browse the joysticks a little more after I dind the boxes. Thanks for the links to LizardLick. Anybody else have any ideas?

its seimitsu ls32 not 01 version, its the non pcb version
I suggest you keep the seimitsus, sanwas are only good for fighters, but seimitsu is good for every game and they change easy to 4way
