Alright, this may be a simple question but I can't seem to find the right cap I need. This is on the left flipper leaf switch on my father's T2 pinball. The cap on the right flipper is completely burned up which is causing sparks to fly when the right flipper button is pushed and the right flipper fuse blows. I believe this may all also be caused because the coil on the right flipper is "too big" (don't know the correct terminology) but we have ordered a replacement for that also. Anyways, can you tell me what cap I should be looking for to replace this?

Look for one with a 104Z on it as they usually dont have the number written like that. It is a .1uf 500v
I have these if you need some. I doubt it needs a 500v one in there, a standard 50v one should be sufficient but I have both here.

Is this at home or on location? if at home, you can probably leave it off and not worry about. Those caps shorting cause all kinds of problems...

look at all the strands of wire that arent even connected in the picture. id re-flow that connection with solder after cutting the insulation back a few millimeters, yes i would.

I breezed through the responses quick and will look at the links later... I have to go on an ice cream run... the wife is demanding it. :) The picture is actually of the good side. But until now I hadn't even paid attention to the fact that the wires could use a re-solder. It is at my father's home. The left side flipper (the one in the picture) works fine. The right side (not pictured) the cap is burned down to a small nub, it sparks when the button is pressed, and now the fuse keeps blowing. I could probably replace the caps on both sides while I'm at it just to be safe. Thanks for the info thus far... I really appreciate it. I've gotten about 10 different values of cap recommended so which one is right? I couldn't find anything in the manual about this but it is possible I just missed it.

I only see 2... 2.2 and .1uf. You need a .1uf cap which is usually written as 104Z on the cap.
