I would love to start my collection with a 50s, 60s, early 70s pinball. They're not boring to me. There's a Hot Line fishing theme from 1966 for $500. A bit more than I want to spend, but my budget would be about $500.

I don't know that pin, but that sounds a bit high to me. A 1977 Argosy just sold locally for $300 and EM pins sit for months on CL around here at the $500 price.

ugh, Memphis is so horrible for everything. My brother lives in Austin but won't help me procure anything. Lazy bitch.

Nashville, do you have anything old EM pinballs for me in the $500 range? I know the nashville arcade has a lot of awesome machines, but no old EM stuff.

A Hot Line for $500 would have to be in excellent condition. A friend of mine had one in pretty good shape & sold it for $350.

Buy pretty much any Gottlieb wedge-head. They are all well built and a blast to play. "Gottlieb the Cadillac of Pinball" was the saying for years and very true.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll keep my eyes out. I'm thinking I'll have to look nationwide and do some driving to really get what I want.

And I just checked out Spanish Eyes. The artwork looks amazing, lol. I would own that.

Somebody should make a Burgertime pin.

I had a hotline it was fun but traded it off. Remember that era has the small flippers. I have a lucky hand that would be one of my last pins to sell. I did pick up a slick chick for 320.00 eat your heart out Ted. My .02 single player wedge heads is where it's at. Bally hang glider is a lot of fun. Look up Dink on here he has a large selection of em"s some for sale.

If you find something you like I'm sure one of us could at least get it to Nashville. The only em's I have at the moment are all gottlieb wedge heads lucky hand (the add a ball version of jacks open), kings and queens and slick chick. I do have a project boomerang I would let go cheap.

Personally, I vote for the wedgeheads too. I like anything with a lot of standup, or preferably, drop targets. I had a Top Card that I unfortunately had to let go before I wanted to, tons of standups, I liked it.

Slick Chick is a good exception...it's hard to beat 9 pop bumpers....

Is $600-$900 alright for a spanish eyes? the $600 you can tell isn't in as good of shape as the $900. And one is in St Louis which is only 4 hours away.

I figured as much. I guess it's not worth the 5 hour drive unless i could get it for half that. from what i can see in the small cl pics, out looks nice. He is sending more pics tomorrow.

Under estimated EM

I have a line of pinballs. One EM seems to get more play then all the others. Williams Set UP (or Seven UP). The four flippers make it fun. Once you understand what the goal of the game is the game becomes addicting. This pin is usually lower price then others. Not the best art but with nice game play a good buy if you can find one.
