Can you spot why this is unusual?

Weren't all BW's ROM conversions from Gravitars? I've had a few BW boards but nothing dedicated like that. It was always a sticker that indicated it was a BW.

Did I win? :)

Yes, you won. The board's hardware is slightly different than Gravitar. It has some rotation features and also employs a tempest style whirlygig, and thrust and fire buttons.

When Gravitar bombed and operators were pissed, Black Widow was reprogrammed to work with the Gravitar boards and lost some features of the dedicated boardset. Atari had to do something with all the Gravitar boards they had in stock.

This is a hand soldered board, so no wave solder.

Spinner? Cool...

I always figured it was intended to be a 2 analog stick game, juding from attract mode... it's gotta be *hard* with those controls...

Back then that wasnt unusual at all.

Matt

I was going through some stuff and found an old plastic plant watering pitcher with "Hecho en Estados Unidos" stamped on the bottom.

Haha, we used to make cheap shit and send it to Mexico.
