can you add drop targets to a pin that dosent have any?

I got a tmnt and love it, very underated game I think. But the only thing they should have done was drop targets for the bank shots. Is there a way to do a mod to add some to it?
 
ya, you could
you would have to wire each one into a score on the playfield someplace and the reset coil would have to be triggered by something too

it would be difficult to get the software to incorporate all that and transfer it into it's own score and then reset and make something else happen too
 
There is a writeup for a firepower drop target mod out there if you google it. It has step by step directions for completing the conversion. Of course firepower originally was designed to have drop targets.
 
I'd think more along the lines of leaving the original target switch lines in for scoring would be the best bet, and wiring a series circuit that closes once all 3 targets are down to fire the coil and pull all the targets up to reset them.

You likely wouldn't be able to get around modifying the target bank to achieve these things, but it wouldn't be rocket science either.
And you'd have to pull the power for the coil from somewhere, and using a capacitor on your makeshift reset circuit would be a definite necessity to fire the coil long enough to cleanly force the targets back up.

Just think about the hardware aspect, don't try and change the software, and with enough know-how it can't be all that hard.
 
That's pretty much what I was thinking. I have a bally supersonic to that I was going to look at to get a better idea of what it will take to do the drop targets.
