Can we say a little over priced?

Guess the guy was right. He messaged me and said his pricing was right on. Learned something new.

Wait, what? I was being sarcastic, I thought that all Lightguns were made by nintendo.

Guess I learned some too.

LOL. I thought you were validating his price. So his price is too high...right?

It is common to see over priced stuff like this on e-bay. Then some dork that has a trashed cabinet sees it and puts his cabinet up for sale on craig's list for the same amount "firm".

+1, LOL. You are sooo right.

Ok, I had taken a break on reconditioning the guns, but I think I will do one more just to list on eBay to spite this guy. Starting price: $0.99

Why can I still not embed. There is no "youtube" icon when I compose a thread...HELP!!!

PS: The sticky made on embedding is confusing. It says do the following: (*YOUTUBE)code(/YOUTUBE), but then it says minus the *...Why even put the * in the instructions...very confusing:(

but it says Nintendo...

LOL. I sent him an offer for $25 and told him that his price was steep, and he sent this to me before blocking me as a buyer.

"considering ive sold the blue and pink guns that are generic (not nintendo stamped) up to $150 this past year fully working, id say you are off on your pricing. show me anywhere you can buy this gun fully working for $25. thats insulting."

Also, he makes it seem like he sold the blue and pink guns for $150 each, but I looked up the sale and he sold them together for $149 (basically $75 each). I saw a working gun go for $35 on ebay like 5 months ago (I wish I would have saved that listing to send him). Maybe if other people make low offers he will get the picture.

It's a shame, that thing sold. Granted, it was $60 less than asking, for a best offer of $130 ($142 after shipping).... Still way overpriced....

Wait.... Maybe I have been selling these for too cheap.

Last one I posted sat up on here for a few days, went to eBay and sold for $83. And that one looked way better. http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=150097

Oh well, I would rather provide quality for a good price than be an overcharging douchebag!

They probably put the * in there so it doesn't get interpreted as a tag. Also, you only want the video ID part inside the tags (which is the letters after the v=), not the whole URL from youtube. It'll look like this if you did it right (and if you quote my reply, you'll see the proper tags)

!@#$%^&*()

Well damnit Slinky! Get on it would ya. I was looking for a gun and one came up on here for $100 with Hogans Alley chips and sold withing a couple hours, but I had just joined the sight and saw that it had already sold. Then I posted on that sale thread that if anyone else has one I wanted to buy it. The same guy contacts me about another one he was selling for $150 that came with HA chips and Duck Hunt. By the time I see the post the gun is sold. It lasted a whole hour this time. I search the site but no more nice guns only crummy ones. So I look on Ebay and only see a guns that look well used and dirty for a normal price of $150 and a sale price of $105. I saw the gun in question here come up for $190, which I did think was crazy. My first offer was $113 and he came back with $150 and how rare the gun is. I told him I didn't care about rarity, I just wanted a nice gun and told him $130 was my final offer. I saw there were 3 other people making offers. Little did I know one was a kick in the balls $25 offer. I admit I paid too much, but I wanted to play some games I bought and the guns on here kept getting sold before I could make the deal so I was ready to pay a little premium. $25 though is an insulting offer, because the gun is nice. So chalk it up to a noob candy shopping for his VS cabinet although given what I experienced it seemed like I overpaid a little, but I was okay with that before I saw this post. :)

You overpaid by double not a little...but if you really wanted it who cares? :)

i dunno. its simple supply and demand. have you seen what some guns sell for on happ. carnevil guns for over $300. same with sammy scope guns...damn, the price of a silent scope gun costs as much as you can buy the whole game for.
over the past couple years, ive seen working nintendo guns actually sell for $150- $250- range quite often on epay. ive even seen untested guns sell in the $75 range.

here on klov, its a small group compared to the rest of the world. most people here want deals or to buy cheap. but of course if we r the ones selling we want more :)
ebay is the real world and larger market. not every gamer hangs out on newsgroups.

just because one was posted here and not taken , and then listed on epay and fetched 80ish bucks, does not mean that is "the" price they are worth.
you should know that when you see an asteroids sell for $200 fully working one day on epay, then a week later another one sells for $800...same condition.
supply and demand....
my 2 cents anyway...prolly not worth anything...
