Can The neckboard cover on cabarets support the cabinet?

I need kind of a quick answer to this... told my friend that if the weather was good I'd take my Ms. Pac-Man mini to his house for a Halloween party he's throwing.

When I moved the cabinet, I had it laid on it's side... I would really rather not do that again if at all possible. So... can the little bulge in the back of the cabinet fully support the weight of the cabinet with out me having to worry about it collapsing and breaking the monitors neck?

His house is only about 15mins away, and the roads are all paved the whole way... No speed bumps, steep rail-road track X'ng, nor any potholes.

Or would I just be better off putting a blanket down, and putting the machine on it's side?

I'm leaving for his house in about an hour.

Better safe than sorry, just tie it to your rear bumper and drag it over there.

If there's a bulge, why not find something that can be the same thickness of the bulge supporting the rest of the back of the cabinet? Then just tie it down. I would think that it would want to rock if resting on a bulge, in which case all sorts of mayhem could ensue.

I would not riask it. Why don't you slide it in on a towel or piece of cardboard?

Yeah, I guess that's my best bet... I just hate putting blankets down in the back of the truck because it pretty much instantly ruins them... and sadly, I didn't even think of using cardboard. Time to put some of these old boxes to use.

Thank you.

NO! I've had quite a few busted necks from people who have tried this, or have tried to dolly it from the back.

Just lay a blanket in the truck/van/suv and lay it on its side...

No worries, I'd hate to see your game get damaged! Have fun, stay safe!
