can a guy add a spinner to the 60-1 multicade? for playing arkanoid of course. it has a standard jamma connector on it. And where would a guy pick a spinner up? i had one for a mame machine but it is usb i believe. thxs paul

If you have a later revision 60-1 (with trackball interface), I believe a spinner can go there. You might ask Nixs or Flex, I believe they have more knowledge on this. I do know Bob Roberts sells the trackball harness and I think it should work the same with a spinner IIRC.

the old arkandoid spinner is NOT compatible with 60-1. you have to mod the optical board. I found the guy who used to make boards but he couldn't find any laying around. (facebook contact).

you will have to take a new wico trackball board and rework it for the arkanoid hardware if you are going that route.

Don't waste an Arkanoid spinner on a 60 in 1, just use a cheapy mame spinner, it likes those.

the tornado spinners on ebay recently you can get for around $60 with best offer. there are no cheap spinners out there.

I bought it for my mame cab. thought I'd like Major Havoc but the emulation on half the game is cruddy.

ended up liking it for Tempest and Kickman a lot. Glad I spent the money on one actually.

If someone had a junk arkanoid spinner I bet it'll accept a mod to a happ board, but I haven't tried it yet.
