can someone with a space wars shoot me a few pics of the inside?

I am going to look at one tomorrow and would like to know what to look for to make sure it's complete.

or possibly describe the boards and such I should be looking for to confirm the game is complete.

I can take some pics. in a bit. I have 2 of them if your interested...

There are 2 flavors cinematronics(bigger) and vectorbeam.

Its pretty much a pcb and sound card on 1 metal plate on 1 side and a power supply on the other. A light fixture to light up the control panel and a monitor on a shelf. pcb looks similar to all the other cinematronic games.

here is a pic of the pcb. Pretty sure it will not say space wars on it. So look at the sound board. it should exactly like that. Other cinematron sound boards are labeled with the games name on it. They have more parts on the sound board with a different layout..

here are pics of the vectorbeam one

there is no art and no gel on the monitor. Fixing one is not easy so keep that in mind.. If it does not work, its going to blow fuses in the PS. If you replace them, they will probably blow real fast. if you disconnect the montior you can probably keep the fuses from blowing. Then you can probably coin it up and see if the pcb is trying to work..

it's the cinemetronics version. that says space wars up and down the sides in a blue strip

The one you are looking at I believe has a Midway coin door.

yeah it looks like it, does that matter?

I should say, it's just the wrong coin door on a cinematronics space wars it appears huh?

It doesn't matter as long as the guts are all there and the wiring is all intact. I messaged the guy some questions about it (specifically the insides) and he did not reply. Hopefully it is all there inside an you would just need a new coin door (to make it original), fix the wiring to the coin door and troubleshoot the game. It's a fun game, hopefully it works out for Dylan. I would get you some pictures, but mine is burried behind projects.
