Can someone with a Satan's Hollow chime in here?

I need a pic of your joystick under the CP.
Is your joystick pretty loose? I'm not thinking I"m missing anything from the joystick, but it seems pretty loose, so perhaps I am.

Also, the front kick plate, is there a source for this?

I may have a photo of this in my photo album, not sure. Check it out and find out.

Mine was working but felt very loose when I first brought it home. Theres supposed to be a heavy spring from the bottom if the joystick to the bracket directly below (theres a small hole, at least there was in mine). Mine was missing the spring so I put a new one in, joystick feels great now.

Thanks for that kick plate heads up. I'll order that in the morning.
I don't even see on my joystick where there would be a grommet. Thus, how awesome a picture would be. Not to mention a search around everywhere for a SH grommet doesn't yield results.

Tron is the same assembly, just a different color handle. Might have better luck searching Tron.

Edward (some call me Babs!)

Will do. Thanks
I want to wrap this thing up in no more than a week.

How does that kick plate attach, screws?

Mine doesn't have a grommet and it's pretty loose as well.

Heres mine with new spring installed. This spring made my stick tight again.

one other thing, i'm not right near mine right now, but if they're like a tron stick, there's a 'sleeve' that is the part the plastic shells connect to, and then there's a solid cylinder that the orange/red ball thing that pushes the leafs is connected to. in my tron, you could move the top and bottom of the stick separately from each other. there's a pin that's pressed in that holds them together. i replaced it with a long machine screw, two washers and a nut.

these are actually a little different than a tron stick. I guess in some aspects they are the same. but once you get under the cp they are pretty different. Mine is also a bit loose. I could see where a new spring would help. I also wonder if the two rubber bumpers or what ever they are might be worn down. It would seem if they were not the stick would seem a bit more tight and less likely to swing too far and come in contact with the cp wich mine sometimes does.

It looks like mine has been modified as someone has lost the very bottom piece of metal the spring slides over. Chances of finding that part are probably pretty slim. Anyone have any ideas?

Also, can someone get me a picture of their kick plate up close? I'd like to see where all it attached with the staples.

Perhaps I could just use a finish nailer.

I should have mentioned, I adjusted those as well.

That spring sucks. You need a heavy duty spring, and it needs to be shorter. I got mine at Menards but Ace also has them. As far as that bottom pin goes, a screw and nut should work fine, or you could buy a pin and e-clip while your buying a spring anyway.

you know what would be real tight? springs for drum brakes.

If you gimma some specs to go off off ill dig through all the drum break spring hardware kits at my work.

Is it a normally compressed or normally decompressed spring?
