Can someone school me on Dynamo cabs??

Take the cp to a body shop or welder they will hook you up. Just make sure you have evrything you want done to it layed out on a piece of paper cut to size like a template. They will be more likely to help you. I had my welder redo my cp last week and should get it make today. I will get some pics when it returns.

I am gonna piggyback your thread if you don't mind, as I have a dynamo-related query. Is this a dynamo cab in the back corner:

? If so, what version? I am going to service it at a movie theatre tonight. What was the standard amp line fuse used in these? 5A slow-blow?

I have done it both ways: welded a metal "body shim" washer in each individual hole on the CP, then make new ones; and I've cut out a large rectangular section thus removing all holes, and welded in a solid rectangular plate in it's place. I'd say by far the method of cutting out a rectangular section removing all the holes is the way to go. You just have to sand and Bondo the seam really good and you end up with a nice fresh start.

It looks like a Dynamo HS-1 to me, though it could be a Dynamo HS-2 (same cabinet, except the HS-2 has a sliding front drawer). The picture is too low in quality for me to tell one way or another.

I don't know about the fuse. I have two HS-1 cabinets, but I've never had to mess with the fuses in them. All I know is that it is a standard cylindrical glass-body fuse on the hot AC line, like this.
