Like the title say's. I know you guys have to have some pictures of what it would look like if I left my Centipede in a leaky basement. Any pictures would be really appreciated.

the defender I have has some f__ked up water damage.
instead of being 3/4' thick, the bottom is like 4" thick, I will try to
get pics up later.

So is the significant other wanting you to put your Centipede in the basement? Planning on using to pics to show what can happen if you do?

Exactly what I was thinking, LoL. Time to put your foot down! the couch isnt that uncomfortable.

Long story short. I sold my house last year and the new owners are suing me. They claim they have water damage in the basement that happened when i was living there and we didn't disclose it. I have a dated picture of my Centipede in the area of claimed water problems and my Centipede has zero water damege. Wanted good pictures of what it could look like if it was in water.

Nice picture MIA.
The really crappy thing about this, if you sell a house and the new people have problems they can go after you for up to 6 years. Also there are lawyers that specialize in these cases and will sue anyone. Right or wrong it will cost you money to defend yourself even if you did the right thing.

Here's a couple of water damaged pacs I picked up a while back

Really? Is that just where you live? I sort of thought that is why they have inspections, etc.

I had a Contra one time that the water damage on was horrible. The bottom had swollen so much you could flake off about half of the cardboard or whatever it was to get it down to about the right size. Galaga's are pretty bad too. To get a plywood game like those pacs above to splinter, you've got to get them wet for a long, long, long time. That thing probably sat in water for months to get that bad!

They had an inspection. They actully found roof problems at the time. The guy that did my roof riped me off, short cuts didn't do things correct. The inspector these people had, well at the time i thought, found everthing, small things I didn't even know where wrong. Our house was on the market for 6 months in 2007 with one lowball offer and again in 2008 $20,000 less, because of the market. It sold in one week. We had a cash offer, we found out later because they won a lawsuit. Didn't think anything at the time. Funny thing is our house went on the market 9 days after Lake Delton emteyed. If you didn't know about this Wisconsin had one of the worst rain storms ever and Lake Delton which is part of the Wisconsin Dells emtyed into the Wisconsin river which causeed a bunch of flooding problems. The Centipede and the other games where in the basement. No problems!

Centipede is made out of particleboard. If I'm correct you shouldn't even use water based primer or paint?

Yeah, the centipedes crumble up pretty good, but nothing like those galaga/contra type cabinets, it's literally made out of some sort of cardboard like material that's 3/4" thick.

Here is the bottom of a Pac-man cocktail that sat in some water. Notice how all the metal rusted too.
