Can anyone correctly ID this chassis? I can't order from bob roberts until I get the exact chassis code. Obviously it is a WG 7000 but I need to know the exact model number of IE:7xxx

No, you don't. Just tell Bob you need it for a 19" K7000 standard-res....

It is a standard K7000. Bob lists all parts under the K7000 title. If you intend to replace ICs then you need to look at the individual IC and order the exact replacement part.

And by "IC", he doesn't mean just the processor chip, but the Voltage Regulator (IC4) and vertical amp (IC3)...

Yeah, good point. By IC I was referring to any component that is marked with the nomenclature 'IC' (as opposed to 'C', 'R', 'D', etc.) on the schematic or the screen printing on the board.

okay will do, I wanted a kit similar to the one below so I could knock everything out all at once and freshen the whole chassis.

Would he put together a package deal just like this for my application? What are the common things that are a MUST to replace after all these years of service on this particular chassis. I know for sure that my FB is bad and I need caps as my picture is horrible.

That'll work. if you REALLY want to replace all the parts that COULD go wrong, get a voltage regulator (check yours to see if you have an STR3123 or an STR30123) and a critical safety cap (C36 if it's a four legged version).

Of course, these parts are only recommended for replacement if you know they are bad. If your monitor currently works, then you won't need them. In fact, you probably don't need anything but caps and a new flyback (yours has white knobs)....

Yes, although you may need a different voltage regulator if it's for a 25" version (should you need one)....
