I've read some threads, but stepped away confused.

Please explain in "200 characters or less" to me.

Thx

Made awesome parts and took preorders. Kept money and ghosted. Came back selling harnesses and parts under multiple names on Facebook and Etsy.

Travis Reynolds on FB, sells on Etsy and Ebay is actually a guy named Adam Judd. He has had several usernames on here, wash, rinse, repeat. Judd was Ram Controls, then pretended to turn it over to a guy named Dan to clear things up, but it was still Adam Judd. He actually goes all the way back to late 90s, scamming people on the usenet group rec.games.video.arcade.collecting. He's ripped off collectors for over $10k, but people still buy from him because he offers things. There are long time guys in hobby, on FB groups that are admins that will delete posts if you point out who Travis is.

There are multiple people who paid several thousand $s for a new Star Wars cockpit, and people (I personally know of some) who loaned him SW controllers, etc to reproduce from.

There was an interesting time there where for awhile, he would have sales, where he would sell you $1000 worth of credit on his site, for $500. It wasn't really 50% off, it was send me $500 and i'll let you buy $1000 on the site like a credit. As soon as I saw that I knew something was up. It was the strangest scam ever though because at the beginning, he made really nice parts.

It was the smartest scam ever, because he gained your trust first. Then stole a shitload of cash/parts. Then went to FB where no one gives a fuck about anything, and continues to do it.

In reality, the guy is very good at what he does.
