Can someone look up a Sega part# (Golden Axe 2)

Can someone with a US Golden Axe 2 check the Sega part# on the GAL16V8A-25LP (or equivalent) at U4 on the ROM daughterboard.
It should be something like 315-XXXX on the bottom right of the chip.
 
I just found out this is a Rev.A board.

Part# 315-5552 is on the ROM board. The part that is missing is on
the security board (834-8529-02) which sit on top of the ROMs.

I checked the MAWS stuff, they have all the chips listed from
the mainboard and the ROMboard. The only thing they have listed
from the security board is the ROM at U3.
 
There won't be an equivalent drop in part, the GAL is a programable logic device, so although you may find a replacement chip you would need to get it programmed, and the source file may not be available in any useful form, in may cases they are not.

Correct...a blank GAL is useless. That's why I need the Sega part# because that is
a drop in replacement.
