This was given to me without any back story. It is a 25" monitor and has a remote board with it. I don't see any tags or markings on the tube frame or chassis.

Anybody have an idea of what I've got?

Thanks in advance guys

I don't have a firm answer but I have a 19" Kortek KTN-2001 that has similar red, green, and blue color pots for the gain controls on the neck. Maybe that's a clue. I actually think that's a nice feature of that monitor…

I was gonna say it looks Kortek-ey. Good sleuthing, Del.

Many (most?) Korteks have that wraparound metal frame around the chassis. And they have those slider switches for sync type and polarity (which is a handy feature).

I have a 13" that I use as a bench monitor, for this reason. They're nice monitors.

that's what I was thinking of when I saw it. good thing the actual answer was found. :p

So this fell out on the floor while I was moving it to place it in the crate that I built for transport(obtained it in the Bay Area, transporting it home to Southern Idaho in a couple weeks)... and I stepped on it beforeci knew what was happening... any ideas where it came from? It's threaded on the inside... if I were to make a guess I would say horizontal width coil spool?... the rear most lead on the horizontal width coil( just to the left outside the wrap around the flyback) seems to be broken loose from the body of the coil( but still soldered to the board) is this where this broken piece came from?

Are the width coils available, or am I likely hosed? Would a 3d printed substitute work. I don't know boo when it comes to 3d modeling, but I've got access to a printer that lays down some really fine prints. If I got rreplacementspool(assuming it came from there) I'd be willing to try to surgically repair the broken lead on the coil... if it's not available, I don't really have much to lose.

Comments or suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Dylan

Width coil for a k7000 should work as I have been told the ktx-26 is a k7000 clone

If the width coil isn't broken, you can just stabilize it with three wood toothpicks at approximate 120 degree spacing) and hot glue it in place.

Just recompress the coil if it got stretched out. It will be fine.

You could also reinsert this piece and then hot glue it in place. As long as you use glue that doesn't have metal (most don't) you'll be fine.

Come on, at least it's not a Matushita (otherwise called a Pieceoshita)!
Actually... I have two Matsushittas... one is in my CockPole cabinet, and another on the shelf that I was given by another forum member... maybe he didn't like me? lol

Thanks for the reply... I'm not even certain it came from the width coil... it was still in one piece until I stepped on it... then 4 pieces... can someone confirm if it is actually the form for the coil? Pic reposted for reference:

I'd think here, definitely for the width coil:

But your's is broke. Like other's have said, you could possibly repair it if the windings are not damaged and intact.
