Hello all. This sunset riders cab is for sale for $875, but it looks quite different from the normal cab:

Me and my limited knowledge don't recognize it. I reverse image searched it and found exactly one website with an old auction listing from 2022 selling the same cab:

On this site they call it a "konami short cab"

But from here, no amount of reverse image searching and keyword fishing could tell me the origins of this cab. Was hoping some of the experts here who have been in the scene for longer than I've been alive could help

1. What is the name of this cab?
2. Is this an original sunset riders cab? A conversion of a different game's cab? Or a generic cab?
3. Is it valuable?
4. Is it supposed to be a sit down cab? It looks quite short to me in the pictures but I'm unsure

Thanks guys

Someone took a saw to what looks to be an original Konami cabinet. Not really valuable to a collector, but it's working which is nice and the monitor is there. Worth about the value of the PCB and monitor.

As @Radford119 mentioned above, these are highly likely just stock Konami cabinets that have had the marquee area cut off.

I find it curious that all 3 cabs have the same pattern on the control deck. Is that pattern found underneath the control panel graphics of all sunset riders cabs or something?

Likely all modified by the same operator.

personally if these were put on location to just beat on and play, these are fine. From a collectors standpoint these cabinets are garbage.

I'd second the theory they all were done by the same operator/distributer. It looks to me like the bottom was also cut off.

I used to own one exactly like that. I was told and it was stated at the last auction in Anaheim, they are from Round Table Pizza. Cabs were cut down to be able to see over them because of placement in the arcade area/restaurant. A new overlay (not from escape pod, they don't fit properly) and color joysticks spiffs it up nice.
