Hi folks;
I have a Killer Instinct pcb I'm working on, and as you know there's no schematics available for these.
Anyways, in the sound section theres what appears to be a crystal oscillator that's got the leads snapped off inside it, you can move it up and down, and I'm having major sound issues.
The part is a small flat metal can with two leads coming out of it. It's wrapped in plastic that is labeled "10,000 KDS 4C JAPAN". On the board it's labeled Y1.
Can anybody more used to messing with these crystals give me a lead on what part would be a suitable replacement? I'm not sure if that's a 10 Khz or 10Mhz, or 10,000mhz part, and then it's asking what kind of load capacitance and everything I need.
Anybody able to identify it by that marking?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
