Can somebody in Ohio rescue this Stargate?

I don't know much about the guy. I asked him what was missing from a couple cabinets he was selling and his response was look at the pictures, so I passed since I probably need glasses and couldn't tell what was missing from the pictures. I actually grew up in N.O. which makes me laugh everytime I see one of his listings.

I got a Revolution X from him earlier in the year.
He's a nice guy but I believe it took at least 2 weeks for him to respond to me after winning so that I could go pick it up.

Said he was just a collector who buys up games and sells the stuff he doesn't want/need.

Picked up two of his auctions, brought them home last night. I lost out on the Missile Command cab due to work, but that's life..

One cab was a Stargate once upon a time, but is now Jamm-tized with a 2 player Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtls board in it. Upon inspection, I was pleased to notice that there is absolutely no screen burn on it, (or the other monitor in the other cab either), but the chassis was missing. Turns out it is a GO7, and I just happened to have a spare working chassis :). But first, I could tell that there used to be switcher due to the dangling wires, so I got a switcher out and wired it up. Then I wired the monitor into it and flipped the switch. Nothing. Went unplug it to re check the wiring job, and the plug basically fell apart. Hmmm. So I hacked a computer cord and replaced the end. Plugged it back in and Shwing! The monitor came alive and so did the turtles!

I then put a 19-1 in it and realized that the horizontal width coil is broke on the chassis. I find it interesting that TMNT uses the entire width of the screen, but the 19-1 does not even come close to that...

Well the other cab has no board, but does have a WG 19K4675 with no burn in! Amazing, I think. This cab has not been jamma-tized, surprisingly. The seller didn't know what it was, and neither did I untilk took Citrus Strip to the plate on the back that I could make out through the back paint. Well it turns out that this baby is a Rock Ola cab...

The Citrus Strip may have taken off the model no. as well, but...
I did not even know that they made arcade games, just jukes..

Unless someone here has a thing for these cabs, I am going to gut it, rebuild it and Multicade it.

Bryan was great to work with as he actually met me en route to do the exchange. Don't find that too often!

A side note, the Rock Ola cab has a coin counter that reads 4079!!!! Pales in comparison to my PP at 71,000+ and it has been free play for over ten years now... Next is the Taito machine @ 67,000+, not sure how long it has been on FP. Next is Ms.Pac @ 51,000 and I know for a fact that it has been on FP for over 15 years!

Rockola made Warp Warp - can't tell from the pic if that is what you have or not - I can only tell from seeing the side.

Warp Warps look strangely like a small, odd williams cabinet.

Based on the layout of the control panel, I'm assuming the Rock-Ola cab was an "Eyes". Warp Warp's control panel featured a joystick to the right of center (close to the start buttons), and one fire button to the left of center, so unless you see unused holes when you look at the underside of the panel, I doubt it's a Warp Warp.

There's a small possibility it could have been "Pioneer Balloon", or "Jump Bug", but those are pretty rare when compared to Eyes.

Also, take out that blue bezel, flip it over, and see if it is the original Rock-Ola bezel. If it's blue with white stripes, then it could have been Eyes, Pioneer Balloon, or Jump Bug. If it's a green bezel, it could have been Fantasy, or Nibbler.

Well, I undid the CP and the bezel slid right down unannounced... lol And sure enough, it is blue w/ white stripes and says ROCK-OLA along the bottom. And the CP has no extra holes.

Thanx for the help!

Hmmmm.... vertical monitor, one joystick and two buttons marked "throw".

I wonder if that cab had been converted to Mr.Do? If the operator didn't have "fire" labels, "throw" would work, as in "throw the power ball."

It's certainly interesting - pretty much all the single player, vertical monitor, one button kit games I can think of use Fire, Jump, or Kick/punch, not Throw.

You nailed it! I just cleaned off about an inch of grime off the monitor, and low and behold, there is a faint Mr.Do burn in! But still, if the coin counter is correct, it did not get much love... Hmmm, I wonder if the harness is still for a Mr. Do?..

I actually like the geometry of the cab, it reminds of the old Nintendo cabs. I am going to strip her down to the bare wood and redo her. Would it be a sin to jamma-tize it? ...seems to be a mighty fine canidate for a 60-1! But if someone wants a restored Rock-ola cab, I could go that route as well.
