Can somebody help me with problems with wg 7000 19"

I am really new to monitor repairs. This was my first cap kit I did about 6 to 8 months ago. Thought it went well. capped and put new fly back on turn and just had to adjust color and sync. Ran good up until now. It was when I was messing with sync for my donkey kong board. Got it to sync up to my dk. Played it for awhile. Turn game off then came back turned it on. Screen was fine for about 10 minutes. Then starts the problem. Screen started shaking alittle. So I turned it off and on again and then the screen went blank. Went wtf, shut it off and let it set for awhile turn it back on again and no go. Heard the monitor crackle alittle so I turned it off. And discharged monitor then turn it back on and pic came back on but now i can't seem to sync it. And it's scrolling to the left or right can't get it to stop. It won't let me find the sweet spot for it to stop Scrolling left or right. See pic for visual. Not sure what I did but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Pull the chassis and reflow all suspect solder pads, I usually do all or nearly all of them when I rebuild a k7000. If that doesn't work, I'd focus on the pot.. As it might be bad.. But solder first

what pin for sync are you using.

for hat multicade board it should only be pin 10 on the input header.

clean all your pots and inspect for a broke legs.

and re-flow your solder as suggested.

Hey buffet here's how the wires are hooked up to the chassis.

Thanks for the fast reply local and buffet. I will check out the chassis and see if I can see anything that needs to be reflowed.
Not to ask a dumb question what is considered bad and good on the reflow. I know if solder is braking apart or loose, but what is really considered bad beyond them.

Thanks

that looks to be correct.

the other thing aside from a good reloow is make sure that the pins in the connector are making good contact or are not broke and just hanging there by the insulation.

on the reflow don't just glob solder on. heat the joint to get a good melt and add a little to the joint.

yup i can.

that is VR9 it helps adjust your vertical size and linearity.

give it a turn all the way one way then the other as you watch the image you will see how it affects it.

then use it to fine tune your image.
