can I use an old AT power supply as a test bench ps?
while cleaning a lot of junk out of my attic I found two AT power supplies.
I looked up the pinouts and it has all the voltages of a switcher, plus it has the very handy power switch.
is there any reason that I should not make and adapter and use this for basic testing of pcb's?
is there any info I should know before doing this?
aside from the fact that they are at least fifteen years old, an AT power supply and a pc monitor seems like the easiest solution for a 48/60 in 1.
