I have this cabinet that has an aftermarket 25" weia chassis with a standard wall plug on it. I'm looking not to have to plug the cabinet power and the chassis in to supply power. Can I splice the power connector from the cabinet going to the old chassis to simplify the process ? If so what color to what color ? Thanks

Yes, you should be able to. Just double check that the old wiring is good, supplies the correct voltage, and any fuses inline are rated appropriately. Although it often doesn't matter, by convention, the wide prong of the plug is neutral (white wire) and the narrow prong is hot (black wire).
