Can I put the CD player and changer from an NSM Digital Thunder floor jukebox into an Old Fashion Wizard walljuke?

Are the CD player and changer interchangeable between the two? Looking online, the CD player, changer, and title card mechanisms look the same. Could I just swap the CD player from the Digital Thunder into the Old Fashion Wizard which has a CDM4 player? Are the cable connections the same? My OFW just needs the working CD player, but I may swap the control boards and changer too, if it's possible.

Answer for future reference:

The early NSM ES V-CD (ES5) jukeboxes came with a 100 disc CD changer that had the Philips CDM4 CD player. On these models, the Control Unit handled all functions of the CD Changer such as the lift and grip motors. Later on, starting with the EPROM program version V0104 (23.02.96), the task of controlling the lift and grip motors, were off-loaded to a faster CD Changer known as the MBC III. The technology series was upgraded to ES V.1-CD (ES5.1).

Older model ES V-CD jukeboxes can be upgraded to ES V.1-CD by changing the EPROM program chip (IC4) to version V0104. This EPROM upgrade and the required 6pin cable that connects from the MBC III to socket ST6 on the Centrale ESV pcb is necessary to use the MCB III on ESV jukeboxes.

The following ES V.1-CD models directly support the MBC III... Country 2000 Digital Thunder Digital Thunder Wall Emerald Ice Heritage Juke 2000 Performer Grand 2000 Performer Wall 2000 Sapphire Sapphire Midnight

After the EPROM V0104 upgrade, these models are supported ... Firebird II Nostalgia Nostalgia Gold Nostalgia Gold II Old Fashion Wizard Performer Classic Performer Grand II Performer Wall Solid Gold Wizard
