Can I put a tekken 4 system 246 into a time crisis cabinet?

I tried putting a tekken 4 system 246 into my time crisis 3; everything booted but the words were in Japanese or Chinese and instead of it saying the parental advisory after bootip it went straight into a different style demo than the right side. How do I change the words back to English?

I'm putting the tekken pcb into time crisis... I can still set language on tekken via what the test buttons inside cab?

I'm picturing a dedicated Time Crisis 3, which is all I've ever seen. And he's asking about how to set test options which would require a joystick and buttons to move and select options in the test menu. Also, the test button in a cab just brings up the menu. Just confusing to me why you'd insist on testing it in this cabinet.

They are both Namco 246 systems, so the video, power, and I/O boards would plug right up. If I was wanting to test a tekken 4 board and had a time crisis 3 cab the tc3 cab would be the first place I went to TEST, but probably the last cab I would consider to convert but I am not certain that the conversion is his plan anyway.

Let me be more clear. I operate machines you are correct. I had a 246 system on my time crisis 3 go out. I had a spare tekken 4 246 laying around from my parts pile. I put it in the time crisis and the time crisis fires up but is in Japanese. It's not the game disc. The tekken 4 must have been in Japanese when in its old cabinet. I have no other 246 games with joysticks / buttons in my warehouse. I didn't have the pedestals with the guns / test buttons hooked up last night. I know it shows i can change language by using test on tekken, I don't know if that's possible on time crisis (as it has no buttons or joysticks just guns and test / service button)

Just as a side note I have the brand new tekken and the brand new time crisis too. Time crisis murders tekken ten fold in earnings if anyone was wondering. This is a LARGE volume place too. Tekken four wouldn't make 5$ a week even though it is a classic and good game

I had a Virtua Cop 2 that did the same thing when I had a bad board (it was the video board) and I was swapping all of the boards back and fourth with a second good set to find the bad one. Every time the CPU board got unplugged from anything in the stack, I had to reset from Japanese to English.

So, I think you'll be able to set it back to English and it is possible the old set was in English too when you last used it.
