Can I put a Midway Ms-Pac Man board into a Jr Pacman?

My Jr Pacman main board went out recently so while I'm trying to figure out the issue on it, wanted to get it somewhat running again for the clan.
I see an opportunity to bid on a Ms-Pac Man board on Ebay, so wondered if it would pop right in without mods?

If you have one of the Pac/Ms Pac cab conversions, yes. If it's one of the Mappy style cabs, then no. The board should say "Jr Pac-Man Field Conversion" on it if it's a Pac cab conversion. Those have the DC section to convert the AC from the power supply. The one from the Mappy style cab requires DC input.

Like they said, if the existing board has the big heatsink in the upper left corner then its a conversion board and a pac/mspac will be plug and play. If its a dedicated cab it should still work but you may need to crank the voltages up some on the PS. I run both versions on my bench with a switcher so I know it works. The switcher will compensate for iteself but the linear in a dedicated cab will have to be manually adjusted so your at 5v on the pcb.

Great, thanks, My exisiting board does say Field Unit on it and has the heat sink. Going to bid.....
Thanks for the info.
