Can i fit an arcade in a Toyota FJ Cruiser

Like an entire arcade or just one cabinet? You should be good with the exception of skeeball and a prize counter.

An FJ is going to be iffy, if he doesn't mind the back door being open it should work.

I have one. And I say "no". I use my Explorer for arcade pick-ups, the FJ is not an option for me. However, I have seen photos of a Stern Pin in an FJ, which baffles my mind. I did fit the mini pin, Mario Mushroom World in my FJ but it was TIGHT.

I sold my Centipede to a guy with an FJ and it fit perfectly on its side with the rear door closed. Make sure to have something soft to lay the game down on!

I can fit one in a Rav4, and it looks like the FJ has about the same wheelbase, so it should fit OK. You should tell him to leave the passengers at home though; the front passenger seat may need to be pushed forward quite a bit.

I fit a monster Virtua Fighter 2 cab in my Scion. If there is a will, there is a way!

Do some measurements and give it a go!

I think people are a little too nervous about leaving the hatchback open. Just tie things down with a couple of straps, have a small blanket or towel to keep the hatch from scratching against the cab, throw a strap around the towel so it doesn't go flying in the wind, and use a couple of bungies to hold the door down. Stick the hook of the bungies right into the latch on the hatch door.

Granted, it's much, much simpler to just be able to close the door, but it's not like having a game hang out by a foot or so is certain death.

Especially if tbombaci can get away with this:

The FJ is not a hatchback!

And, how did that fit? I measured mine yesterday, was gonna use it to get the DoT and it was about 5' with seats down. I needed 6'. Did you remove the seats?
