Can anyone tell me what ROM "C" contains on GORF??

The test screen on my GORF shows a "C" at the bottom indicating a bad ROM/PROM in location C but the game functions normally, except for a few minor issues that I believe are unrelated but I cannot rule this out. I tried to look it up in MAME but didn't really have any luck. I guess what I really need to know is it's function. Here is a ROM list but it really doesn't tell me what I want to know.

Rom : name size crc region offset

gorf-a.bin 4096 5b348321 maincpu 0

gorf-b.bin 4096 62d6de77 maincpu 1000

gorf-c.bin 4096 1d3bc9c9 maincpu 2000

gorf-d.bin 4096 70046e56 maincpu 3000

gorf-e.bin 4096 2d456eb5 maincpu 8000

gorf-f.bin 4096 f7e4e155 maincpu 9000

gorf-g.bin 4096 4e2bd9b9 maincpu a000

gorf-h.bin 4096 fe7b863d maincpu b000

No way to know without doing a complete disassembly of the source code...

Keep in mind that a bad ROM could just be one bad bit (out of 4096) which could equate to one bad pixel in a sprite, or a bad opcode that prevents the game from running at all...

Very true sir, and thanks for the reply.
I'm really wondering though if it's a color PROM, program ROM, etc.. I think I'm just gonna buy a new one but I didn't wanna spend the $10 if it was something minor and unnoticeable.

Gorf doesn't separate the program and gfx roms... they're all mixed up in that one ROM bank...
