I got my PS issue sorted out tonight and the game fired up for the first time. There is an issue. I posted a video of exactly what the game is doing below. Hopefully someone can help me I really wanna get this game going.

Have you checked all your voltages at the edge connector to ensure your getting +5 and +12 at the board?

reseated chips and connectors?

Start there and see what you get!

i think its a weak pin inside the connector. visually check the pin spacing for weakness. if some arent like the others...

Are you talking about the pins inside the harness that connect to the PCB? Inside the harness 2-3 pins have some mild corrosion on them that I am having a hard time getting to. Once the tank gets a certain distance up the screen the game just resets.

my amidar did the same exact thing. mine was a power issue. original power board was junk so i had put a switcher in. had to adjust the the +5 alot to work out the bugs. i now have the +5 set at .535 just to work right.

So may power supply needs to be turned up? It is reading+5.01

if ya got a meter then i'd say try and turn the power up a little at a time and see if that does anything. i'm not recomending you turn it up as high as i have mine of course. the re-setting issue stopped when i got to 5.09 but mine was still glitching real bad so i had to keep turning the power up till it stopped.

yes. replace the pins and even some of the wire to the pins as the corrsion tends to seep up inside the wire coating. generally half an inch should do it. they sell pin removal tools but i use a transistor leg. works great to bend the little tab for pin extraction. crimpers' are cheap and if you are going to be in this hobby for any length of time, could be a very useful tool. this oxidation inhibits electron flow and should be fixed correctly for long term operation.

She lives!!!!!! I turned the voltage up a little more until the problem was gone and it plays flawlessly. I have been playing it for a couple of days now. Thanks for all the help in the ressurection guys,I really appreciate it.
