Can Anyone Help Identify This Weird Mrs-Pac Man Mini?

Very cool. Never seen that before. You should absolutely save that marquee and get a look at the pcb if its still in there.

Looks a bit round at the hand mark spot to be a deco to me.

It does remind me of a UK cab. Subelectro or Vartek type of think. But not that either.

I want to see the board.

Great to see see more info about this cabinet. Doesn't look US based and does have a European look. Seeing the PCB will confirm.

I will make sure when I go back to get the PCB and take a picture and get the marquee if I can. It's an absolute biohazard but that hasn't stopped me before!!

Reminds me of a Space Duel I pulled out of a chicken coop. The back door was off, so you can imagine what the inside looked and smelled like. It was full, almost to the top of the brick.

I wonder who was responsible for them and I wonder if the board in it is anything interesting.

I am still curious on who made it.

We need more people with this mindset here. This is a preservation website after all..

Nah, I just got lucky and stumbled upon it using Google's image search. :ROFLMAO:

You are right though, seems to be very little to no photos out there of this cabinet.

Can you post what site you lifted that image from?

As long as the cabinet isn't completely rotted at the bottom, the cab is still salvageable. Same goes for the pac cabs next to it. Wear a respirator and gloves, take them outside and wipe them with a damp cloth in a bleach solution.

Thanks Don. I always try my best to preserve anything, sometimes to my own detriment! However. There is a good portion of the cabinet that is straight up gone. The moisture has liquified the particle board back into a goo and the front panel at the bottom has been reclaimed by nature.

As a matter of fact, in one of the photos you can actually see the PCB hanging out of the front of the cabinet covered in debris and mush…. I would love to save it but I think this one is actually too far gone. I have definitely saved some that were way out there though.

Also. I need to talk to the owner of this warehouse about it, but we have about reached our limit on how many games we can store between ourselves in my little Mississippi arcade crew. With that said, there is still a ton of good stuff there that we simply just cannot take due to space constraints. Would anyone in the southern states (or anyone willing to drive) be interested in getting this guys contact info?

The pricing rule thus far has been $100 for every arcade game, and $200 for every pinball. We got all the pinball machines though. He says he aims to sell the property, and everything will eventually go to the dump. He didn't really give a timeframe on that though. If there is sufficient interest, I will take the steps to approve the sharing of his contact info and respectfully and privately distribute it to those interested.

I will also go back and just take a ton of pictures if there is enough interest. Some games of note we left include:

DKJr
Empty Punch Out Cabinet
Several Street Fighter 2s
Virtua Fighter
Operation Wolf
4 player Sega Hot Rod island cabinet
Killer Instinct 2 (converted)
Centuri Time Pilot (converted)
Smash TV (Factory conversion to Strike Force)
Romstar "TOP SPEED" dual cabinet.
Konami "Badlands" laserdisc game (total abomination, converted several times but still has the marquee)
WWF Superstars
Super Pacs, Mrs Pacs, and Pacs galore (mostly trashed)
APB
X-Men

….and many many more. There are probably about 50 games still there in vastly varying states, but I hate to see them go to pot. So do let me know on this thread if there is sufficient interest! Long live VAPS!

Oh and let me add an addendum. MOST OF THE STUFF IS NOT IN THE SAME SHAPE AS THIS POOR MRS PAC.

This was the shame corner of the warehouse. The rest of the stuff is better. Some in great shape, some a lot better, some marginally better.

Grody…. I don't know if I could take that!
Grody is right!

The game was complete, so all parts were cleaned and repaired (and cleaned again). The K6102 was in surprising good shape.

I would love for someone to get the Hotrod. I've been eyeing it the whole time but it just takes up so much space! Even so, I haven't ever seen the 4 player cabinet in person.
4P version of Hot Rod was the only version I ever saw in the wild.

It was up at a ski resort, as one of the 3 games in the cafeteria/lunch lodge (along with a Dragon Spirit), for a season or two.
