Can anyone comment on the Game Family 2060-in-1?

search here. it use to be the 1066 in 1, now its up to 2500 in 1 etc...Paradise arcade sells them, get them there. Good service and good people. Jammaboards sold them but stopped because their failure rate was too high.

FWIW, I have had one for about 4 years. I love it but the hard drives are total junk. Do yourself a favor and copy the one it comes with for backup.

Some are going to respond that you should 'simply' make your own mame rig, which is a good idea, if you have the time, desire and energy to do so.

I like mine and apart from the flaky hard drives, its been solid.

Great, thanks. yes, I had planned to get a copy of the hard drive first thing. I will do some research, thanks!

or simply buy the real thing and get actual enjoyment out of your game...

I have a 1915 in 1 I think.. works great. Never had any problems
with it. I dont have time to mess with a mame front end so this is
a great alternative. Its the machine I use to play all the games I
dont have. Obviously vectors and games with specialized controls
suck but everything else with a joy/buttons works good.

How does this board work with a trackball? And I assume it have a connector for the kick harness?

Question? Does this one have all the Atari 5200 2600 Nintendo games one it to? Or is there such a thing?
Thanks in advance..

don't think it comes loaded with those but it's basically a board pinned out jamma that runs MAME so if you have the know how you can more or less put anything on it that would work in MAME.

Thanks for the heads up, still new to this, so I have a lot to learn yet. Just was not sure what was on it, then see it have the games listed. Would be nice to have all the games in one cab, just not sure yet how to go about it ...
Thanks again !

There used to be a detailed website that told how to do pretty much anything MAME could do with this board. It explained how to delete games and add games, how to make games represent correctly like making a vertical game represent correctly in your cab if you are using a horizontal monitor and how to accommodate all controls such as spinners, track balls etc. I imagine it still exists but not sure.

I will have to do my home work and see what I can come up with. Thanks again!

Is it true you can not play head to head, 2 player games with this board?

Very strange. I talked to NIXIS about this and he says you can not. Are there 2 versions of this board maybe?

Yes, well, play a 2 player game where both people are playing at the same time, like a game of Joust.
