Anybody have any suggestions, I would want one with a video output that I could hook up to a second monitor or projector for the wall. Also would need to be small enough to mount at the top of a cab.

Thanks,
Tim

Why not just split the video signal and send it to both monitors?

If you really want to use a camera, try a Go Pro of some type?
It will be hard to get a good image though because of the different sync rates between the camera and the monitor you're trying to record. You'll likely get the usual dark rolling band showing up on the recording and the the second monitor. Other problems might be flicker and moire effects. You can make it work but you have to put in some effort.

ah didn't think about all of that, but i really do want to just split the signal, but if i can ever get it to work with a conversion board, would need a signal amp, as hooking a board up in parallel i guess it is, washes out the arcade's monitor, and i don't know of a way to go in series because there is not 2 wires for each color/sync

Why not just use a RGB signal repeater? Probably have to use some BNC connectors but it should work to split the video and keep it boosted so not lose in quality.

Sony PVM monitors have loop through connectors for just this purpose. Most pro video monitors should.

You might look into a small HDMI splitter or capture box, that way you can mirror the game output to a projector. Depending on your cab, a Raspberry Pi or small LCD driver board might fit nicely up top too.
