Thanks all! I guess "better" is a relative term given that the contest was designed for kids to be made from things from around the house. Adult-built models and 20 pounds of candy don't add up in my opinion. My kids built that thing from design to paint to construction and they're extremely proud of it. Thanks for the support, guys. Every vote counts. Second place is hot on our tail. Remember that any email address you have will work.

ahh I did not see the part where it was meant to be designed by kids with stuff around the house. I have seen this type of stuff happen before, pinewood derby cars come to mind.

Thanks! Try to make them real emails if possible but you're right, you can use as many emails as you want to vote. We actually just alerted Carnival because the candy ship has some fishy votes so we're trying to stay on the straight and narrow as far as real emails go. Thanks again, All! You guys rock!
you may want to check them out. i've been giving you votes for the last half hour, and every time i give you a vote they get another one. don't know what's going on but i imagine they're making up fake shit as well.

They're definitely cheating. They didn't budge until 1p yesterday and then all of a sudden it was 1 vote every 45 seconds or so for hours on end. Then nothing, then more minutely votes. Pisses me off. My wife is going to contact Carnival today and find out if they're going to do anything about it.

I have all day, and can spare on hour or so. Who is going to help me and creat as many email accounts as we casn within the hour ??? We could get him back in the lead, I know it. maybe you dont want to call them yet ?? If they are not looking at 40 diff emails, but all from the same IP then let it go. It would take four or five of us to get you a couple hundred votes.
For the computer genious's. If we were to vote using a proxy, and out diff email address's, they cant see that they all came from the same ip ?

Sucks that you've been overtaken,but to be fair there's been cheating going on both sides here so they may look at all the votes for all the entries and throw out all illegal votes. Either way,good luck.
EDIT: Now that I think about,since every vote means a dollar is given to charity,I highly doubt any votes will be thrown out,legal or not. That would look pretty bad.

Her lunch hour must have started, her vote counts barely budged between 8am and 12p. Now they're jumping up every minute. I wish I knew how Carnival would handle this, or not handle it.
Voted. Good luck. The Magic looks like a great ship. We'll probably check it out when it comes to Galveston in the fall.
