Hi all,
I plan on bringing a bunch more black and white games to the ca extreme 2011 show and am encouraging others to join me with their black and white games. We plan on have an area where we will be setting up with almost all games from the black and white era in one place. I don't have a Computer Space to bring but would sure love to see one or two join us this year.
I have about 15 misc ready to go and am trying to bring 25 total myself. By black and white we mean anything that uses a monochrome monitor.
here's a partial list so far off the top of my head.
pong, space race, Atari baseball, Midway basketball, tank upright and cocktail, space zap cocktail, Fun Games Tankers, omega race mini, asteroids delux mini, atari pool shark

cheers

Great idea, Dale! It would be great to see more B/W games.

I unfortunately can't commit to bringing games this year, otherwise I'd offer up Taito Space Invaders and Taito Space Invaders: Part II uprights. :(

Great another KLOVER from Campbell.
Where in Campbell do you live?
I live right off Budd and San Tomas.

If they'll accept my Space Wars into checked baggage, I'll bring it. ;)

A B/W section sounds awesome! I thought this thread was going to be a formal event, or something...

last year I wore a black, white, and grey suit for part of the show. Then I started overheating a bit. Black and white can get pretty hot.
I'm on Steinway Ave. shoot me an email. [email protected]
I always haul out a bunch of games on Halloween for people to play. Usually whatever is still working after the show. Actually, whatever is working and easy to move out. I stopped moving my missile command cockpit out a couple years ago. I'm starting to get a pretty good set of yearly repeats visitors now.

If anyone has a Stunt Cycle that they can bring, please do. If I can find one I can afford before then, I will bring it.

I have a Stunt Cycle I may let go of, and a project Starship 1 I'll never get too also.

I have the Stunt Cycle now, so it will be at CAX (hopefully with the sound fixed). I left Tom's outstanding arcade without the Starship 1 (for now at least, gotta count the small victories! :) ). Thanks again Tom! I really enjoyed meeting you and your family and playing in your arcade. I haven't seen a lot of those games in a looonnnngggg time. :)

mmmm Stunt Cycle and a Drag Race.

If I still lived down there I could have helped.

I'm looking forward to playing the black and whites. As you can tell from my game list I have a fondness for them. They are a majority of my collection

I didn't even remember drag race until I saw this pic! It would definitely be fun to play that again.

Thanks Dale for doing this again...it was great fun last year and a big hit! I'm sure it will be again :) .

I'll be bringing my Asteroids with the multikit...I recently updated it to the latest revision as Scott (the kit's creator) prepares to release the kit for the masses soon...

Will Death Race be there again? I love playing this one each year!

And you need to get that Battlezone cocktail running again...it's B&W, isn't it? :D
