Last weekend Calgary had its first (now annual) arcade and pinball show. Thanks to Jay for putting this on and all who helped out. Here are a few pics I took when I had a couple minutes.

I had put in a row of classics, Omega Race, Starhawk (not very good for a show as is a timed game so always had a single game of a couple hours put on), Star Wars, Gorf, Space Encounters, Kick, Armor Attack, Black Widow, Space Duel, Juno First, Star Castle and Warlords.

Warlords died in about 5 monutes which sucked, and Star Castle followed about an hour later.. both play blind so some monitor issue. Star Wars died after about 11 hours.. still plays blind so I think power supply.

Funny thing is the top games of my row were definitely Star Wars.. probably tied with Juno First of all games.. with Armor Attack coming in just behind. I put on 99 credits on AA at a time and did it three times so would say it got around 200 plays that day. Space Encounters was also a pretty big hit.
Not what I was expecting except for Star Wars.

Anyways, a lot of fun and look forward to next year.

Looks great! I'll probably check it out next year. I see somebody had a Wizard of Wor there, I thought mine was the only one around these parts! Were there many machines for sale? Prices decent?

I am already looking forward to next year and I am going to start planning soon. Definately going to be a 2 day event next year. So get all your games tuned up! lol!

My pinballs held up pretty good. I serviced them with new rubbers and made sure all the switches were working good. I also put all new flipper coils in them. Fishtales suffered a broken spinner target and the Indiana Jones 'path of adventure' went out of commision. Still haven't looked at that yet. Surprised that the older games held up better than the newer ones!

Thanks again to everyone that came out! Next years show will be bigger and better. I am going to plan it for around the same time so keep that in mind!

There is tonnes of pictures on the facebook page too. Check them out.

Other KLOV'ers I knew were Freezepop, and neosamuri picked up and delivered a converted Dragon's Lair cabinet from Edmonton (thanks).

Here are my cell phone pics. I also have some I took with my camera I will have to track down.

Once again, great job Jay and thanks for everything you did to make this a success.

There is also going to be a story/blog about the show with lots of pictures. I will email Joel to find out when it is going to be posted. and copy the link here.
