When buying a pin there's always certain imperfections/damage that all a person can do at this point (besides replace or restore) is maintain. Stop it from getting any worse. I was surfing the other day and I saw a picture of a pin that the artwork around the flipper button area was almost gone and it got me thinking about my pin. My side art is so nice and I thought I better protect that area before it does get hosed.

I found a site called pinballpal.com. I ordered:
Stealth Flipper Button Cabinet Protectors
and the
Stealth Start Button Cabinet Protector.

The service from them is so professional. Received an email stating the order was received, and then a follow up email stating the item had been shipped. 2 days later a big white envelope with a vanilla binder inside used to house/protect the product. Considering the product itself is flimsy I see no harm in shipping this way.

The site allows you to pick 1 of 2 versions of the flipper protectors. One with button hole while the other version is without hole. I chose the without version simply because I wanted to ensure the protector was able to be positioned with the edge/corner where the side meets the front.
Clean area first - apply like a sticker. The beauty of these things is you don;t have to be a pro at decals. If you misalign or an air bubble occurs it's super easy to relift the decal and start again. Once applied these things are next to invisible, stay in place and of course your valuable artwork is now protected. I'm very glad I pruchased these two items and would highly recommend anyone that cares about the longevity of their cabinet artwork buy these.

As a side note I had already purchased plastic leg protectors ;)

The plastic protectors will still leave marks. I think the felt ones are the best for leg protectors. The stealth protectors are really nice, however. I hate seeing games with worn off paint all around the flipper buttons.

I agree that plastic leg protectors will still rub off the paint. I always cut my own felt or foam protectors. There is always a large color selection of each at the craft store, so color matching is possible. It's also really cheap. A set of color matched leg protectors sets me back about 50 cents and 10 minutes of cutting.

I put the clear protectors on my TSPP out of the box and have had to remove the legs 3 times since for moving. Never a mark on the cab. I also installed the stealth button area protectors out of the box, too. Still beatiful. I hate seeing TSPP w/ sideshow bob's hair worn off.
