Cabinet Identify

I would say some sort of groovy Space Invaders bootleg based on the controls.

Pretty cool looking, IMHO

Just in case it goes away on CL

Jeez dude, is it worth $20? I know KLOVers are cheap, but what are you gonna do, roll up and offer $10?

Go get the damn thing, it looks weird and amazing.

Pretty sure this is a Japanese style lowboy, or at least a clone of one, missing a marquee

At $20 I don't see why you wouldn't buy it for at least the monitor, if you don't like the cab, move it along, someone would like it just because it's weird

looks awfully like a cut elcon cabaret.

For 20 bucks, i have no idea why you haven't picked it up. I would have grabbed it a long time ago.

Why do people hesitate on anything under $200? The board and monitor alone are worth it...

I would bet there is not a PCB. The controls are gone. Who knows what sort of clap trap monitor is in there too. If it were a SI clone, its prob B&W anyway.

LOL @ "Clap Trap"

I've seen some pretty funky ass monitors in my day too. I'd be leery about this.

For $20, what's the risk?

Let's see:

  • My time to go get this piece of junk.
  • My effort to load/unload it
  • My garage/home/storage space to keep it
  • The likely fact that it's missing everything
  • The (pretty good) chance that the monitor (if present?) is shit
  • The effort in getting rid of said cabinet when I'm tired of looking at it.

That about covers it. Oh, and I'll be out $20.
