Just got this last night and it's an older sort of odd cabinet and i'm wondering what it originally was.

Please help in the ID.

Speaker on the bottom.
Vintage Asahi Seiko Mechs
Marquee mounts in from the back.
Very low mounted G07 monitor.
Check out the eclipse artwork...

Just kidding ... not really sure, but that eclipse artwork reminds me of this:

+1 Sega Gremlin cab. The way the front plexi is attached is a dead giveaway, in addition to the door which was already mentioned.

As mentioned...it's a Sega Astro Blaster. Sega and Nintendo coin doors are different. They do use very similar coin mechs with the face plates. If you had them sise by side (removed from their cabinets)....they actually are quite different. Space Firebird and Frogger (both) had their speakers mounted in the head (the area under the marquee). Astro Blaster had the speaker mounted down by your feet (lord knows why?) in the kickplate area.

Yes. Aren't the Nintendo doors taller?
