Can somebody I'd this cabinet? The sell wants $100 for and said it plays "Mrs packman".

You saw the picture of that exact same cabinet on here, some years ago Mrs Packman and all IIRC.

As for the cabinet, it was probably some sort of dual monitor grey market gambling, setup or perhaps an alternate cabinet for Casino Strip.

I'd want $20 from the seller just to haul that away. Better be up to date on your Tetanus vaccine. I think I can also smell mouse feces from here. Seriously, I'd pass on that thing, it'll bring you a voodoo curse.

That may have answered my question. It may have been an old thread that I just happened to read, but I haven't been in this hobby for years..

Ultimately, I see that and think... parts?.. or potential to make it into some Tetris type game. Yeah it needs a 4th block but the idea is there. Something like that you really need to think outside the box.. (no pun intended)

Problem is that the control panel appears to be at cocktail height while the monitor is at upright height and it seriously looks like there was once a monitor in the bottom cube.

That is why I think it was one of those card games where you played cards on the bottom monitor and nudie girl videos played on the top monitor if you won. There were also twin monitor horse gambling games that worked the same way.

Yeah, its funky looking for sure. Its on Craigslist in Parker, AZ. I was thinking about picking up for parts but I remembered I didn't bring my truck this trip and there would be no way to get that thing from Parker to the house here in havasu in a rav4.

BTW its nice to see you back tbbk.

Thanks for remembering me, almost no one did!

You could always strip the parts, put them in the Rav-4 and leave the cabinet in front of the nearest dumpster. Of course even the parts could be questionable. I would guess a bootleg Ms. pac board, a tired 13" monitor (maybe 19") and a pile of metal bits that won't fit any common cabinet.

Of course I remember you. I'm pretty sure you were the one that told me about KLOV back in 2003 when I was on byoac. Hell, I even remember what tbbk stands for. Haha

It resembles "Game World Group" european cabinets...

I'd bet just about anything it is. That company did a lot of PacMan bootlegs and offered those cabinets for most bootleg titles that weren't officially released in other countries, sort of a Zaccharia type of situation. I wouldn't trash the cab if you got it, that's how it's supposed to be and those are fairly rare, especially in North America. I've never seen that particular variation before. That'd be mine if I was any closer.

The other place that looks kind of like a monitor is where the oversized marquees go on these units. They are meant to be sat at with mid sized barstools I believe, so you're sort of between a cocktail and an upright format. Sort of like the Japanese Cabertail cabinets posted a while back. Pretty slick if you ask me.

Sorry for the sideways picture I can't rotate it on my phone.

Here's the turned upright pix. I wouldn't give him $100 for it. Maybe $25......MAYBE!

I don't know how you guys get those bigger pix in your threads?

Big pics have to be hosted elsewhere and put in an "img" tag. Quote my post up there to see the code.
