What the hell was this thing...Neo Geo? Anywho this is my friends game he has at his business and we wanted to fix the marquee light but can't figure out how the hell to remove the marquee! Both the top and bottom of the marquee area are solid wood with no screws!

wow that thing is ridiculous. Hopefully they don't leave the monitor exposed like that all the time.

I've never seen a cab like that. It looks like a Z-cab, but nope...

Wonder if some crazy dude just decided to make this one up.

No it's got smoked plexi to cover the monitor...yeah my friend says his monitor went out on my Ms Pac and I'm like...hey no problem prob just cold solder joints on the WG4600 and I walk in and see this monstrosity!!!

I'm not sure but it looks like somebody's home project of trying to make a rotating monitor for switching between horizontal and vertical games, it may be a one of a kind cab.

That's definitely not a NEO GEO but it sort of look like it below the CP. That thing is ugly as hell. It could be some sort of unique Japanese universal cab. That'd be my guess. But what do I know? :)

I vote this... or the plateau cabinet... or a plateau inspired homebrew.

Try a hammer to remove the marquee.

Or put a bag over it's head and continue playing.

LOL...yeah she's hideous! Well he said it's making the most money out of Roadblasters, Millipede, and Gauntlet so he wants it fixed. Now to just figure out what the hell is wrong with the MTC 9000 in it.

I had the 19" model a few years ago.
It took me a while before I figured out how to change the marquee.

There should be a lock on the top of the cabinet.
the lock's latch holds the marquee in place.
Once unlocked, just slide the marquee up and pop it out.
