Guys,
Working on a Star Trek that had the usual cabinet ground wire going to the metal frame of the monitor, coin door, CP, etc.
It was all one big wire tied off at various points. Problem is that it's a PITA to take the entire thing out to pull the monitor and you can't really disconnect it from the monitor frame w/o having the monitor out.
So I cut the wire on its trip up to the monitor and was thinking I either need to crimp it together or use an insulated quick disconnect to make the connection. Any issues with using an insulated quick disconnect in this way to reconnect this wire?
I don't want to be cutting and re-crimping that wire every time I pull the monitor.
Thanks!
