Cabinet edge molding, when not t-molding (Omega Race, etc)
Rockler has a ton of woodworking supplies and they happen to carry white, black, and almond edge molding with a heat activated adhesive backing. It's 13/16" wide, so you'd apply, then trim with a band-it edge trimmer or whatever.
I don't know what all cabinets this is used on, but I've seen more than a few with the flat glued-on molding that doesn't use the slot.
