My buddy and I are zeroing in on completing our 60-in-1 cocktail cab. We are using the plans on MikesArcade.com and that got us thinking.... Other than the Mrs./Pac plans on MA, are there any other cabinets that people have developed plans for? Is there some sort of listing or personally developed plans thatyt'all could send me/point me in the direction toward?

I have developed plans for a pacman cab cocktail. (Heavily modified Jakobud design)

It's designed to NOT have the monitor swing out with the 1" top. The monitor is attached to the bottom fixed section. No need for a 1" top any more

I made about QTY 5 or 6 of these, so the design works. It is in metric if interested

I will post them here if interested (prefer not to do it privately etc)

I will post them here as I mentioned :)

Fully Converted set of Metric Pac / Ms Pac Cocktail Cabinet Plans

Based on KYLE'S LINSTROMES PLANS HERE Which actually use a 1 INCH THICK TOP, so that's why the top is NOT on this initial cut schedule.[/COLOR]
* * * * IF you want to use a 16mm thick top, then cut the sheet to 1828 x 1220 FIRST * * * * Use the 600 x 1200 offcut piece for the top

The layout was re-arranged for easier use on a bench saw - So if entirely using a jigsaw, the old layout will work fine for you

The straight red lines are the cuts

Material List

After Actually building one from these plans some amendments were made.

Pics have been updated and listed in RED

On the Main cut list plan there was red writing on it already so the changes are underlined in red instead

Go for it.

POINTS OF NOTE

1. The monitor is 21", and this detail is left out as each monitor is different
2. We used a panel the same size as the base panel for the monitor, with the screen cut out of it
3. 19mm pine and melamine glue was used with an air operated staple gun (30mm Staples) inside on each corner. But 30mm screws and 19mm square pine corners were tried on the 2nd one, with success - if staples & gun aren't available
4. The monitor actually sits on the 19mm pine corners
5. Iron on black edging was used on bare ends to hide it.
6. Wheels were used and 2 fixed 60mm legs (from bunnings), instead of the levellers.
7. The top size was changed to 560 x 815 so the glazier doesn't get confused
8. The top with glass attached, hinges up, and the monitor stays in the cab

Another one - a bit different, I think better

Latest Pics

The top and Control Panels are covered with Chalk Board Overlay (See this thread)

Notice David's (at AVD) little Joystick PCB (Turns a normal 8 way into a 4 way electronically)

This is a flat screen 21" TV monitor with a JOMAC Chassis fitted - Great clarity - Love it!

Notice Below, the method used to hold down the top is Magnetic clips (I used the 6KG ones, NOT the 4KG ones - Both From Bunnings)

As there is NO LIVE Parts accessible from the top, there is no need to lock it down, and the 12KG of force is quite hard to lift

Notice the wiring is looping so NO strain is put on the cables when opening

Takes ages to make, but worth the result

Thanks to Daics, couldn't have done it without him

:):cool::D

Anyone have any full size or cabaret plans? No game in particular, just want to see what's out there for the next project.
