So, I am out of work and twiddling my thumbs here at home, wanting to get a new project started to distract me. I have a lot of parts laying around but I don't have another cabinet laying around.

I was thinking about doing a plywood cabinet and staining it rather than painting it. Anybody have any links to any designs (preferably copies of original cabinets), that can me made with a single 4x8 sheet of plywood? I guess it would probably have to be a mini or cabaret cabinet.

Or, anyone in the St. Louis area have a junk cabinet I could come pick up?

Taito Trimline cabinet immediately comes to mind. There are plans out there for it (searches pockets for link but comes up empty). Being that they had a stained wood overlay anyhow, actual stained wood would look pretty great.

This DKjr Cabaret was made from one 4x8 sheet (actually 2 2x8 sheets):

and was based on the original DK Cabaret:

I like how the trimline flyer gives you some dimensions to compare with a typical cab

Do a Ms Pac cocktail. They look great stained. You can do the base out of one sheet, just have to get a small piece of 1" for the top.

You can always just make one from scratch .. It takes alittle trial and error but after you build about 4 or 5 you get the hang of it.
