This may not be news to some of you, but I was able to source a brand new tube for my Battlezone Cabaret (15") from a place called Video Display Corp, 1800-241-5005, it had to be banded for me, but I got it shipped to my door for $104... ask for Sherry.. she is pretty nice, I imagine they have several other tube replacements, but for that v2000 tube, model number was 15st4730R, It looks really nice.... apparently, according to them, that tube is still used by teleprompters in radio-TV stations I guess,,,, low tech im sure....

It means they place the metal band with mounting points on it so u can mount to the frame

That's the same as the one in Asteroids Deluxe, right? Super interested if so.

You're talking about just the tube? Why not just pull a tube from an old 13" TV? As long as it meters out with close ohms, has same number of pins, and the tube angle is the same, it will work.

I may be wearing a dunce hat on this but...

Regular CRT tube will work with vector chassis?

Yes, but...

These days, good luck finding a black & white tv to use as a tube donor for a black & white vector monitor!
