I was talking to Takeman about doing a run of cabaret control panels since its been a while since the last one and I have seen a few people (like myself) looking for panels.

Since cabarets seem to be getting more popular it may be time for a new run... Takeman said if there is enough interest he would consider doing it.

He has run in the past a centipede control panel, an atari blank control panel and the upper bezel retainer. Also he ran at one point pacman and ms pacman control panels. (if I am missing anything else he did let me know)

I would be down for the below.. anyone else?

Centipede control panel- 1
Atari blank -2
Pacman- 1

I have to say this. I'm glad a bought a blank on the last run because I knew I'd run into a situation where I'd need a cp for an Atari cabaret project someday.
Sure enough, this year I found a gutted Tempest that was turned into a bowling game.
Then gutted again.
I've been wanting a Dig Dug cabaret forever, but they just don't come up for sale.
Long sorry short, I am building one from this long ago gutted Tempest.
So making blank control panels for the 19 inch cabarets is a great idea.
There are still plenty that need to be converted back.
Put me down for another blank.
A no brainer. Seriously. Thanks.

I would take:
Atari Cabaret blank x3
Atari Cabaret upper bezel retainer x3
Pacman Cabaret x2

i'd take a blank.. or centipede cabaret if that were in the cards, something to drop into a tempest mini cab to play quantum.

Noooooo! Save the Tempest cabaret cabinet!!! Dig Dug??? 😃

If you were closer I'd trade you for that Tempest cabaret to restore. While the cabinet is very close to Dig Dug and Centipede, still different enough that something about that conversion is just wrong. 😄

There was nothing to save. It was converted to some shitty bowling game with no back door.
We're talking about an empty woodgrain cabinet here.
Better to be a functional Atari cabaret then a multicade.
It makes no sense to try and piece together the parts for a Tempest cabaret, when you have zero parts for it to begin with. Plus, a Dig Dug is what I have been looking for and cannot find. They did not make many.
It's going to look amazing. :)

I love this thread and especially love getting new metal from Takeman!!

I would be in for entire metal kits for Atari cabarets (klax, centipede), Taito trimlines and Midway minis (rally-x, WoW). But if there's not demand for the whole kit, just getting the CP, bezel and marquee brackets would be cool.

I'd especially like a WoW mini CP that's silk screened and for someone to repro the CPOs.

And this is off topic, but I'd love to find another Warlords cocktail metal kit if anyone has one they'd like to sell and/or if Takeman wants to do another run of those too...

Would love a blank pac panel if only there were plans on how to build my own pac cabaret. :(

giving this a bump in case people havent seen it yet.

some decent interest, mainly for Atari blanks.

Not sure there is enough interest to get it going yet though... will be up to Takeman if he thinks its worth doing.

Giving this one more bump and then Ill pass it on and see if we can at least get the Atari blanks done up since there seems to be good demand on those.

thanks to everyone who replied.
