I have an opportunity to buy several games, but want to find a value, so I can make a good deal for myself.

1. Original working Pac-Man Upright
2. Tempest Upright with dead monitor, plays blind
3. Original Ms. Pac-Man with unknown condition
4. Original working Popeye Upright
5. Original working Assault Upright
6. Original Asteroids cocktail
7. Original Zero Hour cocktail
8. Original IPM Invader cocktail
9. Original Tekken Upright with unknown condition
10. Donkey Kong project with all but PCB

Much appreciated. Thank you and sorry for a long list, but this maybe a great find for me.

according to most users here who have no idea about real world prices, every game on that list is no more than 100 unless huo mint

9, 250ish
10. condition? 2-4

I dont know what others will say, but this is what I'd pay depending on condition:

1. Original working Pac-Man Upright -$50 - $300 depending on artwork and condition.
2. Tempest Upright with dead monitor, plays blind - $150 max
3. Original Ms. Pac-Man with unknown condition - same as pac man
4. Original working Popeye Upright - up to $250 depending on how nice it is.
5. Original working Assault Upright - $250 max
6. Original Asteroids cocktail - $250 max
7. Original Zero Hour cocktail - $150 max
8. Original IPM Invader cocktail - $150 max
9. Original Tekken Upright with unknown condition - $150 - $300 depending on condition
10. Donkey Kong project with all but PCB - $150 max depending on condition...how bad is the monitor? If it's a good/reconditioned monitor then $250 max.

Pics would help, but in general:
1. $350-$450
2. $500
3. ? how unknown? If cab looks good, but is completely dead, it would be worth $150
4. $400
5. $250
6. $250
7. $200
8. No idea
9. ? original cab? $100
10. $350 if nice cab, good monitor

These prices reflect more so what I see stuff selling for on my local CL.

As you can see it's very subjective, just look at the prices you have received in the first 3 responses. You will probably get a better deal if you can buy them all as a package. Pricing, seems to vary based on location.

9. ? original cab? $100

I'm guessing he means original PCB and not a bootleg?

Also, my prices were based on what I would pay in a bulk buy...might pay a little more for an individual game if only getting one and it was something i wanted.

I don't know about $500 for a Tempest with a dead monitor though? It would have to be pretty mint for me to pay that much...i've seen working ones go for $400 to $500 that were well played and beat up a little. Also...after working on a water damaged Pac Man cabinet for a month now, I can tell you I wont be messing with anything with water damage again.

Yeah, I wouldn't pay anywhere close to the prices I put. I just put them down so he could get an estimate for what they seem to sell for around me.

If you want to be fair to yourself and to the seller, tell him you'll buy all cabs together for no more or less than 200 dollars each. Figure some will have more value, others less.

150.00 for a tempest that plays blind? really? i would care to guess ANYONE on here would give 100.00 for a working Tempest boardset, and 200.00 for a complete non working 6100 let alone what the cabinet might be worth, wiring, power brick, ar2, coin door, Control panel.

If your really think it's worth 150 like it is, sell me 10 of em please.

A working tempest sold here in northern California for $200 2 weeks ago. Prices vary all the time.

I'd offer the guy $1500 for the lot if they are all in average or better condition and I really wanted them. And that is how you need to deal with him, if you can. Don't offer prices on each, but maybe you know that already.

You got 6 games that are A list. Asteroids and Tekken are B and I never heard of the other 2. $1500 for that batch is a fair deal if you plan to keep them. Margins are thin if you plan to fix and flip.

And Chris, the hobby won't be dead, it will just be a smaller group and games/parts will be sold collector to collector with only a few retailers around. It will be tougher but it will still exist. Hoarding will be mandatory, not looked down upon. Think Mad Max, but with games. :)

And you didn't pick it up?

Maybe I should drive A LARGE vaN and do some raiding LOL

Price depends on the cab. The last pacman I got cost me $150.. It had a bad board. A monitor need of recapping. a Fist size hole in the front panel. Wrong speaker.. A few opens in the wiring. a worn out joystick with a broken leaf spring.

I seen working tempest move fairly quickly at 500. If the art work and marquees are in great condition.. I don't see a problem offer up to 2k

And this thread is the exact reason this hobby will be dead in just a few short years. Thank god i'm just about out of it!

i was suprised i didn't see "man that's alot of games to get, see if he will just pay you gas money to take them" :D

Yeah, no shit...

Noticing the same thing. Sold all my stuff, kept the Star Wars and my Race Drivin' cockpit. Everything else is gone while it was still worth something.

Once our age group outgrows the need to relive our childhood, there won't be enough buyers to make it worthwhile. I think we're well on the way.

Chris I hear you're looking at (or maybe already bought?) a hot rod of some sort. I picked up a basket case 1988 Mustang GT convertible.

Thank s for all the answers, this helps a lot. The games in my list came from 2 different people and yes it is/was a lot. So far all is good, just need to finalize pricing. Difficult part is sellers changing there mind on what is included in the lot, errr..

If CL prices around here are any reflection of what they sell for, then here are the prices:

1. $1,350-$1,450
2. $1,500
3. $3,150
4. $1,400
5. $1,250
6. $750
7. $1,200
8. $3,000
9. $1,000
10. $1,350
